In the contemporary design landscape, imagining a truly new object is an increasingly complex challenge. Kutyna was born from this very need: to reinterpret a childhood memory, transforming it into a functional and versatile furnishing element.
Designed by interior designer Pierpaolo Rauco , Kutyna is a retractable telescopic chair inspired by the telescopic glasses of the '70s and '80s. Manually adjustable in height, it can transform into a pouf, chair, or stool thanks to a mechanism engineered over two years of development.
Made of transparent recyclable polycarbonate , with translucent finishes and extensive customization options, Kutyna is designed as an open project, capable of evolving over time and adapting to different contexts and uses.
